Stamkos played on despite nose injury

Steve Stamkos sustained a nose injury at the 4:59 mark of the second period but returned to action a few minutes later.
His nose was severely sliced after a Johnny Boychuk shot hit him in the face after shattering his visor. Stamkos went to the dressing room for attention and returned a few minutes later with a full face shield. It appears that Stamkos' nose is also broken. If that is the case, there is now plenty of time for it to heal.
