Stephen Curry might have plantar fasciitis
Stephen Curry - G - Golden State Warriors
Feb. 23, 2012 - 3:55 AM ET

Stephen Curry left Wednesday's game with a tendon injury in his right foot and did not return, and team doctors think he might have plantar fasciitis.

X-rays were negative, but Curry was in a great deal of pain and wasn't able to return after giving it a shot late in the second half. Plantar fasciitis is tough to shake, but Curry has consistently been able to return sooner than later from injuries, although that hasn't always been in his best interest. The fact the Warriors are off until Tuesday is great timing, but we'll have to see how his foot responds to treatment before knowing his status for his next game. If he's going to miss time, Nate Robinson would be the guy to target in a pickup.
