Jason Demers continues to skate

Jason Demers is getting close to returning to action after hurting his wrist in the Finals of the Spengler Cup.
Demers was originally supposed to be out 2-3 weeks but he later told CSNCalifornia.com that 4-6 weeks was more accurate. He has been skating and is able to wrist the puck but did not take a slapshot during Monday's skate. He has been out for 23 days so consider him day-to-day for now.
