Sharks could decide on Scott Gomez Tuesday

The San Jose Sharks could make a decision on whether or not to sign Scott Gomez as early as Tuesday.
Gomex was bought out by the Canadiens last week and has been practicing with the Sharks. "For me, the fitness test is, can he keep up in practice right now? If you can't, you're not fit," coach Todd McLellan said. "From what I've seen - today was the first day he skated with us - he looked quick. The effort level in practice was strong." Look for Gomez to be a depth player with San Jose, if he signs.
