If coach Guy Boucher is looking for a reason to go back to Dwayne Roloson in Game 6 on Wednesday night then the veteran goalie's record in elimination contests should be taken into consideration.
The Bolts trail the Boston Bruins 3-2 in their best-of-seven series, but Roloson has never lost a game with his team on the brink over six matches. He won three straight times when he was a member of the Minnesota Wild and he duplicated that feat in the opening round with Tampa against Pittsburgh to help the Bolts overcome a 3-1 series deficit. Boucher decided to reward Mike Smith with the start in Game 5's 3-1 loss to Boston, but he still has plenty of faith in Roloson's abilities. "I felt Roli needed just a little breather," said the Lightning bench boss. "I still have all the confidence in the world in him." Stay tuned as nothing has been confirmed yet.
