G Semyon Varlamov to start for Avs tonight

Semyon Varlamov will start in goal for Colorado tonight when they visit the Minnesota Wild for the teams' season opener.
The Avs will feature a first line of Paul Stastny centering Jamie McGinn and David Jones. Matt Duchene will center a second line with P.A. Parenteau and Gabriel Landeskog. The third line will consist of John Mitchell centering Milan Hejduk and Steve Downie.Coach Joe Sacco said he will play only six defensemen against the Wild, even though the Avs are carrying eight on the roster. The two healthy scratches on the Avs' defense probably will be Tyson Barrie and Greg Zanon.
