The St. Louis Blues have inked Wade Redden to a one-year, $800,000 deal.
Redden can earn up to $1 million if he unlocks his games played-related bonuses. Redden hasn't played in the NHL since the 2009-10 campaign because the Rangers wanted to bury his cap hit in the minors. That wasn't a favorable option with the new CBA, but the Rangers were able to use one of their compliance buyouts on him. Redden is worth keeping an eye on, but we can't recommend picking him up at this time.
