Sven Baertschi has made the Calgary Flames' roster.
Flames coach Bob Hartley informed Baertschi of their decision on Thursday. "I will just ask Sven to be Sven. He's a kid," Hartley said. "There are bumps in the road playing every second night. It will be a big challenge for Sven, but we're not going to leave him alone on an island. We will talk with him and support him. He's a kid. I love working with young players. This is a positive challenge for us." Baertschi is projected to start the season with Mikael Backlund and Michael Cammalleri. He's a great guy to pick up in keeper leagues and he's at very least worth keeping a close eye on in single season leagues.
