Lightning give Cory Conacher a roster spot

Cory Conacher has cracked Tampa Bay's opening night roster.
"We feel he has done a lot in the American League already 'and if you look at his year and half, he has continued to improve," coach Guy Boucher said. "I like his grit, I like his relentlessness and I always have, so he deserves it." During training camp, he has been skating with Vincent Lecavalier and Teddy Purcell, while also working on the second power-play unit. The reigning AHL MVP may be worth picking up late in your drafts.
