Ivan Rodriguez to get day off on Wednesday

Nationals manager Jim Riggleman plans to give Ivan Rodriguez the day off on Wednesday.
"We have a plan for him," said Riggleman. "He's been pretty adamant. He wants to play every game this week." As he should, as the 38-year-old backstop has visited the fountain of youth, batting .444 (20-for-45) in the early going. He'll be in there nearly everyday, but Wil Nieves will start on Wednesday.
