Cam Atkinson sits Weds. with lower-body issue

Cam Atkinson did not skate on Wednesday because of a "minor lower-body issue."
Columbus coach Todd Richards isn't concerned that his first-line right winger sat out the session, which suggests further that he could be ready for Saturday's opener. "I wouldn't say (I'm) concerned," Richards said. "I guess there's possibilities in anything, whether he's in or he's out (of the lineup). But right now I'm not concerned." The team will check in on him Thursday morning, but he may have been sat just as a precaution.
