Ovechkin,a torchbearer for '14 Sochi Olympics

Alex Ovechkin will be a torchbearer for the 123-day relay in the 2014 Sochi Olympics.
"I'm very excited. It's a big thing in Russia and it's a very good thing," Ovechkin said. "I'm very proud I'm one of the guy who is going to have torch. I'm very happy and it means a lot to me." He has said several times that he intends to take part in the Winter Games when Russia hosts regardless of whether or not the NHL agrees to send its players overseas.
