Ottawa's Latendresse not worried about injury
Jan. 16, 2013 - 12:40 PM ET

Guillaume Latendresse isn't worried about the possibility of injury despite his dubious history.

"Hockey is hockey, injuries are part of it," said Latendresse, who has played in just 27 games the past two seasons. "I'm 100 percent right now and I have no doubts, but if I have injuries, that's part of the game. It might be my head, it might be something (else). I touch wood. I'm comfortable with my body, but you never know about injuries, so you can't be mad at yourself if they happen." He is penciled in to open the season on the second line with Kyle Turris and Daniel Alfredsson and could be a valuable contributor if he can stay healthy.
