Eighteen years ago, they were college freshmen with the University of Vermont. St. Louis went undrafted and Thomas didn't make a permanent transition to the NHL until he was 31 years of age. Now they are both making significant impacts at the NHL level for their respective organizations. "We both found a way," said St. Louis.
