Tyler Bozak has a chance to be Buds #1 center
Tyler Bozak - C - Toronto Maple Leafs
Jan. 12, 2013 - 1:55 PM ET

The competition for the Maple Leafs' number one center position will come down to the disappointing Tyler Bozak and the newly-acquired James van Riemsdyk.

Although it has been rumored that Bozak will be traded in a deal for Roberto Lunongo, nothing is really happening on that front. At least for the start of training camp, Bozak will skate between wingers Phil Kessel and Joffrey Lupul on the team's first unit. van Riemsdyk will likely lineup on left wing on a line with Mikhail Grabovski and Nikolai Kulemin. It is very early and these plans are hardly etched in stone. However, we wouldn't sell our Bozak stock just yet.
