Canes Justin Peters ready for season

Justin Peters posted a shutout in his last start for Charlotte of the AHL Friday night.
He will be recalled Saturday and join the Hurricanes in training camp. Peters will face some competition for the Canes' backup job behind starting netminder Cam Ward as Dan Ellis was signed last month. It's hard to say at this point who will emerge as Carolina's number two goalie.
