Ryan Miller says lockout was stupid waste
Ryan Miller - G - Buffalo Sabres

Outspoken Buffalo netminder Ryan Miller had a few interesting things to say about the lockout following a workout Friday.

Miller was frustrated during the three-month work stoppage and seemed to think that the NHL had an agenda all the while to resume play in January. "In my mind, it always had to be January in Gary Bettman's mind," Miller said. "Obviously, he had something in his head and he was going to see how far he could take it. So there's really no going up against Gary, when he has something in his head." Of the lockout itself Miller said. "I still don't even know the right message because it was just a stupid, useless, waste of time." Tell us what you really think Ryan. We love Miller both on and off the ice. He should be one of the first half dozen netminders drafted in any hockey pool this week.
