Tuuka Rask's patience has finally paid off as he will start this season as the undisputed number one goalie in Boston.
He has waited five years to officially take the reigns in the Bruin net and he believes that this time was well spent. "The years you play, you gain experience. You gain confidence," Rask said. "You go through these experiences, good and bad, and you learn from them. I think those make you a better player." Rask spent the lockout playing in the Czech Extraliga with Plzen where he posted a stellar 1.85 goals against average and a .936 save percentage. He looks ready for the challenge of guarding the Bruins' cage. We like Rask and recommend him highly for the upcoming season.
