Aaron Johnson doesn't have a lot of time to make his case for an opening night roster spot.
The journeyman defenseman signed a two-way contract with the Bruins this offseason, and he didn't play abroad, so he's coming in a bit cold. Even with Adam McQuaid's status uncertain after October surgery to remove a blood clot, the Bruins have other prospects who could make the club. I'm just trying to take it day-by-day. I did a good job of skating as much as possible in Dallas," said Johnson. "You just prepare as best as you can and hopefully go out and have a good camp."
