With the lockout winding down, Guillaume Latendresse can finally return to the NHL.
Latendresse hasn't played in an NHL game since Dec. 14, 2011 due to a hip injury and a concussion. "The last two years was pretty tough for me, with all the injuries, and missing a few months from the start (this season), it's going to be important to be ready mentally and the confidence needs to be high," he said. "It was a good three, four months to get my head and my hips ready. I don't have any pain right now." Latendresse should get a chance to serve as a top-six forward, but we don't expect him to do too much offensively out of the gate.
