If he doesn't shape up this season, the Flyers could use a compliance buyout on him in June. Luongo has 10 years, $47.3 million left on his deal. Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren denied the rumors to the Philadelphia Daily News' Frank Seravalli: "That made me chuckle. Safe to say they aren't true. They have no basis or merit."
