Rangers have interesting to make with Redden

The Rangers brass has met with the representatives of Wade Redden to discuss what direction the two sides will take going into this season.
In the new CBA, contracts over $900,000 can no longer be hidden away in the minors and his cap hit of $5.6 million would count against the team's salary cap for this season. Additionally, the Rangers can't buyout his contract until June. Redden has played the last two years in the minors.
