
Alex Ovechkin practiced with his Capitals teammates for the first time since the lockout ended on Tuesday morning.
He said he was glad the work stoppage is over and that he's "happy to [be] back." Ovechkin played well during the lockout with Dynamo Moscow in the KHL and he'll look to bounce back from a sub-par performance, by his standards, in 2012-13 under new head coach Adam Oates.
