Carey Price praised P.K. Subban for helping neutralize Boston's leading goal-scorer, Milan Lucic, in Game 1 of their first round series.
Boston registered 31 shots on goal, but just one of them came from Lucic, who also finished the game with a minus-one rating. Subban led both teams with 27:07 minutes of ice time in the playoff opener. Subban had only played in two NHL games when he became a regular on Montreal's team during the 2010 playoffs. Now, after recording 38 points, 124 penalty minutes, 110 hits, and 106 blocked shots in his rookie campaign, Subban is expected to be one of Montreal's top defenseman in their 2011 postseason run.
