According to Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com, Brandon Webb (shoulder) received a "positive report" after a meeting with a team doctor.
Good news. Webb hasn't proceeded as quickly as hoped, but a source tells Rosenthal that barring a setback, a return in May is "highly likely." Diamondbacks general manager Josh Byrnes, on the other hand, isn't ready to go that far. "I have no idea how to establish a timeline," said Byrnes. "We have to prepare to play with that unknown." It's possible that Kris Benson could keep a spot warm in the rotation until Webb is ready.
