Buffalo was very well represented at the just completed World Junior Championships.
Jake McCabe, the Sabres' second round pick in 2012, was the gold medal winning Americans' captain and registered six points in seven games. The team's first pick last June, Mikhail Grigorenko, was arguably Russia's best forward with six points in seven games and 2011 first pick Joel Armia, who played for Finland, finished second in tournament scoring with 12 points. It looks as if the Sabres will be in good hands going forward.
