Jeff Vanderbeek has become the sole owner of the Devils.
Vanderbeek was close to refinancing $78 million in debt during the playoffs last season. The ownership figures to provide some stability to the organization -- with the new CBA expected to give more revenue to owners and the Devils likely to be eligible to receive revenue-sharing payments under the new agreement. "Today's announcement is good news for Devils' fans, though I fully recognize fans' frustration with the work stoppage," Vanderbeek said. "Our future is now secure, and we can be confident of continued on-ice success."
