John Gaudreau has been standout offensive threat for Team USA at the World Junior Championship.
The Boston College star and Calgary Flames prospect has scored a tournament-leading seven goals in six games and he is currently tied for second in points with nine. Gaudreau also leads the tournament with four power-play markers. The undersized forward has displayed plenty of speed and skill, which has helped him earn the coming out party that Calgary GM Jay Feaster was hoping to see when he talked to Sportsnet back in December. The fourth-round pick of the Flames in the 2011 draft has 11 goals and 12 assists in 14 college appearances this season as well.
