Jonathan Huberdeau thinks Canada's slow start as the reason they ultimately lost to Team USA in the semifinals of the 2013 World Junior Championships.
Canada found themselves down 2-0 after 20 minutes en route to a 5-1 loss. "We didn't have the start we talked about. That was the key," said Huberdeau. "We knew it was going to be hard but they scored some early goals and when we tried to come back, (goaltender John Gibson) was outstanding." Canada entered this tournament with high expectations, given that guys like Huberdeau might have been unavailable if not for the lockout. They will compete for the bronze medal on Saturday.
