Jonathan Huberdeau and his Team Canada teammates are determined to get a better start in this semifinal round versus the United States after playing catch-up at last year's World Junior Championship against the Russians.
Canada entered the third period down 6-1 to Russia at that tournament before rallying to make the end score 6-5. "It's important to have a great start because last year we didn't and we know what can happen," said Huberdeau. "It's been a year but it feels like it was yesterday that it happened. For sure we think about that. We had two days off, which was the same scenario. It's a different team, a different tournament, and we want to have a great start this time. It's really important." The Florida Panthers prospect has accounted for two goals and five assists in four games for Canada so far.
