
The NHLPA submitted another counter-proposal to the league on Wednesday and the two sides are expected to resume talks at around 8:00 p.m. ET in New York.
According to TSN's Darren Dreger, the NHLPA wants the NHL to share the pension cost and there are still some issues that need to be sorted out with the matter. The union and the league have gone back and forth with proposals over the past few days in a last-ditch effort to save the 2012-13 season.
