Daniel Girardi leads the league with 235 blocked shots this season.
That's 31 more blocked shots than Minnesota's Greg Zanon, who is in second place, so Girardi will almost certainly end up winning that category this season. Girardi is also tied for 24th place in the NHL with 192 hits. Combine that with the 30 points he's recorded this season, and it's fair to say that he's been one of the Rangers best players.
