Gaudreau, Trocheck send USA into quarterfinal

Calgary prospect John Gaudreau and Florida draft pick Vince Trocheck potted a pair of goals and an assist each to lead Team USA to a convincing 9-3 win over Slovakia on Monday.
The victory gives the Americans third place in Group B and they will play against the second-place finishers from Group A in the quarterfinal round. USA was facing an early exit from the world junior tournament had they lost the contest to Slovakia.
