
Matt Duchene scored two goals and added a helper to lead Canada to a 5-1 win over Fribourg at the Spengler Cup.
The Canadians now advance to the finals on Monday and will face the winner of Sunday's afternoon contest between Vitkovice and Davos. Carlo Colaiacovo scored a goal and added an assist for the Canucks, while Jason Spezza and Benoit Pouilot, also scored. John Tavares and Justin Williams added assists in the win. Devan Dubnyk registered the victory and will be in net for the final. NHLers David Desharnais and Patric Hornqvist registered assists for Fribourg, while Vancouver netminder Cory Schneider was saddled with the loss.
