Malcolm Subban redeemed in 2-1 WJHC win
Malcolm Subban - G - Boston Bruins
Dec. 30, 2012 - 9:40 AM ET

Malcolm Subban redeemed himself for two mediocre World Junior Hockey Championship performances in Sunday's 2-1 win over the U.S.

It's not as if Subban was terrible in wins against Germany and Slovakia, but he did post a very pedestrian .893 save percentage. However against the Americans on Sunday, Subban was outstanding stopping 32 of 33 shots including 24 in the first two periods and a number in a late barrage in the last few minutes of the contest. He should start in goal against the Russians on Monday.
