Michael Ferland returns to WHL Wheat Kings

Michael Ferland has been assigned to the WHL Brandon Wheat Kings.
Ferland struggled to make the jump to the AHL and even ECHL this season, so he'll get a bit more time at the junior level. There he'll get plenty of playing time as one of the Wheat Kings' top players. Ferland was taken by the Calgary Flames in the fifth round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
