Andrey Makarov turned aside 41 of 42 shots in Russia's 2-1 victory over Team USA in the 2013 World Junior Championship.
Through two contests, Canada is the leader of Group B with six points, while Russia is in second place with five points. Team USA is in third place with three points and they now need to beat Canada in regulation time on Sunday to have any realistic hope of winning the division. Meanwhile Russia will play Germany on Saturday and the expectation is that Russia will win the game by a comfortable margin. Germany has already been outscored 17-3 after matches against Canada and the United States.
