Report: NHLPA preparing a counter offer

The NHLPA is reportedly preparing a counter offer in response to the NHL's latest proposal.
The NHL reportedly moved on key issues like contract term limits. It wouldn't be shocking if, as it now seems, the union doesn't simply accept the offer. The question now is if the NHL will bulk at whatever changes the union makes or if this will lead to renewed negotiations as the two sides seek to iron out the remaining differences.
