Phoenix Coyotes winger Radim Vrbata is confident there will be an NHL season in 2013.
"I'm still positive," he says. "I still think they'll be a season." Vrbata plans to remain in Phoenix until a final decision on the season is made. "It's good to be on the ice," he said. "Obviously you want to make the best out of the situation, but it is what it is. You have to keep pushing yourself to be in shape because like I said, I still believe there will be a season. You want to be ready as much as you can. This is not ideal, but at least it's something." If the entire season is cancelled, it's likely Vrbata will return to BK Mlad' Boleslav in the Czech Republic. He previously played two games there before bruising his ribs.
