Wisniewski suspended eight games for hit

James Wisniewski received an eight game suspension for his hit on the Blackhawks Brent Seabrook on Wednesday.
Wisniewski is a repeat offender as he was suspended two games in November for a hit on Shane Doan. The hit on Seabrook gave Wisniewski an eight game suspension as he took a run at the Chicago blueliner and hit him in the head. Seabrook crumbled after the hit. The NHL is looking to halt hits to the head and this suspension is showing the league is starting to take the issue seriously.
