Darren Haydar scored the Chicago Wolves' lone goal in their 1-0 victory over the Abbotsford Heat on Wednesday.
Haydar has three goals and five points in his last four games. "He had a slow start to the year and was frustrated because he couldn't score," Wolves coach Scott Arniel said. "But the last (few) games, he's been outstanding. He's been the leader of our team with our offense, but also how he plays with the puck. That shot he had, when he can do that, our chances to win go up." Haydar had 57 points in 70 games with the Chicago Wolves last season.
