Diamondbacks manager A.J. Hinch suggested that left fielder Conor Jackson will be his No. 2 hitter this season.
Well, it was more than a suggestion. Hinch said that Jackson "screams two-hole to me right now." It would be a definite boon to his value, especially with Justin Upton, Adam LaRoche and Mark Reynolds locked in as the team's 3-4-5 hitters. Jackson's 2009 season was a wash due to Valley Fever, but don't forget that he has a .281/.361/.431 batting line in the majors. With eligibility at first base and the outfield in many leagues, he's worth an investment as a sleeper.
