Anze Kopitar has successful surgery on ankle

Anze Kopitar had successful surgery to repair torn ligaments on his right ankle on Wednesday.
Kopitar was expected to be out at least six weeks but with the torn ligaments, he will not be able to start skating until late July, or early August. He should be fine for training camp but do not expect to see him at all during the playoffs, unless you can see him in the press box.
