
Updating a previous item, Nationals general manager Mike Rizzo told Adam Kilgore of the Washington Post that the club has not discussed free agent outfielder Jermaine Dye.
While Rizzo said the team will explore options outside of the organization to fill their right field vacancy left by the release of Elijah Dukes, but Dye is apparently not a consideration. As of right now, Justin Maxwell, Willie Harris and Mike Morse are the in-house candidates to play right.
