Cole scores a pair in losing effort

Erik Cole scored both Carolina goals in a 5-2 loss to Boston on Tuesday.
Perhaps this is the jump start the hard-nosed winger needed to get things going. The combination of injury and ineffectiveness have limited Cole to only eight goals and 11 points in 27 games this season and although he has shown in the past that he plays his best as a member of the Hurricanes, don't hold your breath expecting him to be the consistent producer he once was.
