Vanek scores in losing effort vs. Leafs

Thomas Vanek scored his 27th goal of the season in Buffalo's 4-3 loss to the Maple Leafs on Tuesday.
Vanek's goal total is slightly below expectations for him, but he has come on strong in the assist department during the season's second half so his fantasy owners don't have much to complain about. Jason Pominville and Rob Niedermayer also found the back of the net in the Buffalo loss.
