Cards option six players to minors
Daryl Jones - OF - St Louis Cardinals

Cardinals optioned OFs Daryl Jones and Shane Robinson, 1B Mark Hamilton, C Bryan Anderson, LHP Tyler Norrick and RHP Francisco Samuel to Triple-A Memphis.
Jones is regarded as one of the Cardinals' best prospects, however he managed only five at-bats in Grapefruit League action. The 22-year-old outfielder batted .279/.360/.378 with three homers and 29 RBI in 294 at-bats with Double-A Springfield last season. Hopefully he'll soon add some power to a profile that already includes plus-speed and impressive plate discipline.
