Alex Ovechkin has been suspended for two games by the NHL.

Ovechkin is being punished for boarding Chicago's Brian Campbell in the first period of Sunday's game against the Blackhawks. Campbell is out indefinitely due to the incident. Ovechkin received his third game misconduct and his second suspension of the season. He's considered a repeat offender and he will lose $232,645.40 as a result of the incident. He is eligible to return on March 20th.
