The Edmonton Oilers' AHL-affiliate, the Oklahoma City Barons, are on a five-game losing streak.
The Barons now have just 25 points in 23 games this season, which is particularly disappointing when you consider how stacked their roster is. Justin Schultz, Jordan Eberle, and Taylor Hall are all members of the squad and would have been playing in the NHL if not for the lockout. On top of that, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins has played in 19 AHL games this season, although he's currently participating in Team Canada's selection camp for the 2013 World Junior Championship. The silver lining for Oilers fans is that the NHL-caliber players on the team have all put up impressive numbers despite the Barons' struggles this season.
