Nick Johnson lands with ECHL Idaho

The ECHL's Idaho Steelheads announced the signing of forward Nick Johnson on Tuesday.
In 77 games last season with the Minnesota Wild, he registered eight goals and 26 points. Johnson agreed to a one-year, two-way deal with Phoenix this past summer, but his debut there has been placed on hold because of the NHL lockout. He is expected to make his Steelheads' debut on Wednesday against Alaska.
